Dear Arena Club Aquatics Swim Families,

We are pleased to share that our club has received a Safe Sport Recognized Club status. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and positive environment here on this team, and we have received recognition for all of our efforts to this end.

Through USA Swimming’s Safe Sport Program, we submitted our Athlete Protection Policies, safeguarding procedures, and educational engagement, including
• Our travel, electronic communication, and anti-bullying policies;
• Our team honor codes and codes of conduct;
• The processes by which we recruit and train staff;
• Our communication procedures;
• And our efforts to educate about Safe Sport, abuse prevention, and healthy boundaries.

All of these items were reviewed by USA Swimming Safe Sport staff. Our Safe Sport Recognized status will run for 2 years, after which time we will be eligible to renew by reviewing all of our policies and procedures again.

We are excited to have achieved this milestone and demonstrate our commitment to providing a Safe Sport environment on this team. Please contact the coaching staff with any questions.

Regards,

Coach Betsy Graham

I know must of us are either into vacation mode, Long course swimming and or summer league. We are not really looking that far ahead to a new registration season.
Registration is open and I have some exciting news!
The club has allowed us to offer some extra groups this year that one will help you save some money and two some nonmember groups to help maybe save some families thinking of leaving because it is to much and maybe bring back some of our swimmers.
We still have the same groups from last year and the same times.
What we have added is a discounted payment plan for those swimmers that swim HS and pretty much disappear the months of December January and February due to HS practice times. It is still an 11month plan and the swimmers still practice with Sr. Performance and get to participate in the Grind if they choose to.
The other two programs that we have added that are open to members and non members is a Beginner Starz group. This is for 8 and under and they will practice on Sundays and can choose to participate in all 8 and under meets in our LSC.
We still have the 10 and under Starz Development group for members and non members.
The program that I am most excited about is the Sr. Development Starz group. This will be a three day a week program offered to members and non members. It is offered to our Middle School and 12 and under swimmers. You pick any 3 days that works in your schedule. It is a 9 month option for short course season.
The other news is that no family will pay over 500.00 in registration fees. This will help out our families of three or more.
The club has asked that we have a Registration deadline this year of August 19,2019. I know most of you don’t usually get Registration done till the following week. The Billing department gets backed up in the process of all of this. So if you register after August 19th be prepared to pay registration fee and the first months billing dues.
Registration is open as of today. Front desk will have an information packet for you that you will take and keep. You should also pick up the appropriate billing packet. Everything in that packet must come back signed.
If you have any questions please ask myself or Brad.
I have attached the break down of groups and price list.
Coach Betsy
